Der coole Gangster und Profikiller Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) ist zurück. Und er hat plötzlich Herz. Ein falsches! Triadenganove Johnny Vang hat ihm ein Kunstherz eingepflanzt und will mit Chevs Organ seinem schwächelnden Oberboss zu neuer Lebenskraft verhelfen. Chev will sein Herz zurück und begibt sich auf eine wilde Jagd nach Vang. Dabei verliert er die drahtlose Batterie, die das Kunstherz am Laufen hält.
